Grand Suites

Salvetti

The Palacio owes its name and existence to the noble family of Italian Consul Arturo Salvetti. A beautiful building designed by architect Víctor Pérez, the Palacio dates back to 1887 and over the years has become one of the iconic sights in the city of Alicante.

Alfonso Xlll

When they came to the official opening of the Alicante regattas club, King Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria of Spain decided to stay in the Palacio Salvetti. As a sign of gratitude for the hospitality they received, the King covered the Armoury walls with fleur-de-lys as a symbol of distinction, royalty and nobility.
